PREPARE FOR BATTLE!

  • Click here to register your team for the 2016-17 school year.
  • Read Mark Twain and Truman nominee books. Teams are responsible for reading all 24 required books.
  • Team members qualify for Mark Twain and Truman readers celebration by writing three questions for each book they finish. NO QUIZZES necessary! (Four book minimum).
  • All teams are required to write three questions for each book (72 total per team). See example.
    • Use this spreadsheet template.
      • Make a copy
      • Add your team name to the title
      • Share it with Charlene Burns and all the members of your team
      • Write three questions per book.
      • Write questions that could only be answered by someone who read the book but don't write questions about insignificant plot points.
  • Elimination battles during advisory in February and March.
