Liberty Christmas Tree

The Liberty Community Christmas Tree program is accepting applications through November 11 for those that need Christmas assistance. The program lends a hand to disadvantaged families and older adults in the Liberty area who are facing a difficult holiday season. A few weeks before Christmas, each household in the program will receive several large boxes of non-perishable food along with milk, eggs, and a turkey. Children in participating households also receive gifts to help make the holiday season a little brighter.

Anyone living within Liberty Public School District boundaries is eligible for assistance. School-aged children must be enrolled in a Liberty school. Home-schooled children must be registered in an official LPS extra-curricular activity; enrollment will be confirmed.

Those needing assistance may complete an online application through or call the Liberty Community Christmas Tree program at 439-4424 Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The deadline for applying for Christmas assistance is November 11. Late applications cannot be accepted.
